[Gerry Brownlee] I’ve known Matthew Doocey for a very long time, I think he’s going to be an excellent Member of Parliament for Christchurch East. He’s worth voting for because all the personality traits he has are the things that typify the east. A strong resilience, a willingness to get in there and get things done, ah and a great desire to see that part of the city even better than it was before the difficulties that we’ve had over the last couple of years. And I know that ah Matthew will be one of those people who forges ah an identity for the east built around his commitment to the east.
